After the final acceptance, the student is obliged to present MRSA test results.
NOTE: Students submitting applications for participation in the exchange program are advised to familiarize themselves with the websites of the chosen universities, as well as with the curricula they offer.
The exchange program is intended for the students who in the academic year 2024/25 will be in the:
Applications for the exchange program are to be submitted in the academic year preceding the academic year in which the student will be partaking in the program.
Required of an applicant is the following:
average of grades for the courses taken theretofore (not lower than 3.25) – max 10 pts;

interview in the language of the target country and/or English – max 5 pts; students holding a language certificate in the language of the target country will have priority in choosing a university;
level of academic activity (active participation in scientific societies confirmed by the supervisor of a particular group, active participation in conferences, academic publications, etc.) – max 5 pts;
social work – confirmed by Council of the Student Self Government Organisation JU MC (Rada Samorządu Studentów Wydziału Lekarskiego UJ CM) or in IFMSA; 1 pts for each activity – max 3 pts.
A student of the Faculty of Medicine JU MC may study outside the mother university for no more than two semesters during the whole course of studies (in special circumstances up to four semesters). The student is entitled to only one scholarship trip per academic year.
Students partaking in the Erasmus+ exchange program are exempt from fees for the studies abroad and are granted partial funding to cover the costs of living.
All lectures and classes are conducted in the mother languages of the universities (unless specified otherwise). Required level of proficiency depending on the university: B1, B2 (France, Germany) or C1 (Lausanne).
Applicants for the exchange program in Belgium, Portugal, Slovenia and Hungary will be assessed in terms of their knowledge of English, and in the case of the exchange programs in Spain and Italy, applicants’ knowledge of Spanish and Italian respectively is taken into account first of all, and then their knowledge of English. The educational institutions in the countries mentioned earlier hold language courses before the beginning of the classes.
Recruitment to Erasmus+ in the academic year 2024/25 will be conducted via USOSweb.
To partake, log in to the system, go to the Student’s section (main menu), and next to Student Mobility (left side menu bar). Applications will be accepted from January 15 till February 5, 2024.
